October 14th    Mini Indy Club Race   #10

This was the day for Kyle Trickle.  Kyle would start the senior honda race today tied for first place with Tyler Courtney (Indiana State Champ in senior honda) and Dillon Welch (Region 4 senior honda champ) just 1 point away in 2nd place. Anyone of these fine drivers could win the race and take the Mini Indy track title. Kyle would win his heat and be off to a great start.  In the feature he would drive up to 2nd place behind Tyler. Kyle was very patient waiting to make the move on Courtney. With lots of laps to go Trickle drove around the Indiana State Champ and pulled away. Kyle soon came onto lapped traffic and drove like a champ through the lapped cars to take the win. Mini Indy Senior Honda Track Champ 2006. In light 160 Kyle was in a solid 3rd place with champ Dillon Welch way out ahead to catch in points. But Kyle had a shot for 2nd place with Taylor Courtney (Tyler's Twin Brother).  Kyle would have been in a better position but was clearly taken out of the championships by others during the season.   Kyle drove hard winning the heat and coming in 3rd in the feature. Kyle would finish just 2 points out in 3rd place for the year in light 160. Our hats off to Dillon Welch and Tyler Courtney for 1st and 2nd.
